Pink Marmalade Gin is a popular new gin brand who have grown over the 2020 lockdown period, with features in top media outlets for their colour changing pink gin.
Pink Marmalade needed to increase their sales channels due to the 2020 global lockdown which had caused many of their usual channels in events and hospitality to reduce. The brand was not on Amazon and needed us to manage everything end to end.
The brand were going to be launching into a hugely competitive marketplace with many large, well established products already performing very strongly.
In addition, the brand needed a quick turnaround with go live required before the Q4 sales rush.
This meant we needed to create a strategy which gave Pink Marmalade their best chance of selling well, ranking highly and, it needed to be done very quickly.

As the gin market is incredibly fierce on Amazon in the UK, it was crucial to understand which keywords we wanted to focus on and which were most realistic to perform strongly against.
We researched the market and competition, creating a listing and launch plan which gave Pink Marmalade Gin their best opportunity to gain a strong organic rank on as many high-traffic keywords as quickly as possible.
We also organised their ad campaigns using key, high-impact targets, improving their efficiency of spend.
Pink Marmalade gin reached number 1 rank for several key phrases relevant to the product, giving it organic search volume of 35k over a 30-day window, even in a hugely competitive marketplace.
Demand outstripped the brand’s available supply, selling out of all stock after the first 8 weeks of sales, with a very healthy profit.
